Appointing a doula is a very personal decision so I would like to share a little about me to help you with this important choice:My name is Kathy and I live with my husband near Camberley I completed the Developing Doulas - Birth and Post Natal Doula Training course in January 2009 and am a fully registered Trainee Doula with Doula UK I hold a full CRB disclosure and a St John's Ambulance General First Aid Certificate I am fully insured and have references available My Philosophy... I think it vital all expectant and new mothers have access to the best possible pregnancy and birth support, to help mum and baby during pregnancy and the delivery. I strongly believe that a doula's work is to empower a family to take care of itself and I am keen to make this happen by offering encouragement and suggestions. By offering support at the right times, a guiding hand and the benefit of previous experience, I would like to help you with your baby .
