In terms of the illustrations, this hardback book falls into the ‘super cute’ category. The images have an old fashioned charm to them which is made even nicer with the clever addition of moving pictures. As you turn the pages or lift special flaps, the pictures magically change before your eyes. The story is about a newly hatched fluffy duckling who wants to go off exploring, but he doesn’t like the rain. As he meets different farmyard animals, they each teach him about the benefits of the rain and he eventually comes around to the idea of water.
